Gabriel’s Redemption – Sylvain Reynard

Dear Everyone,

Back in September, I wrote a post in which I mentioned my next novel. I’m pleased to be able to give you more information now.

My next novel is the first in a new series, and it will be entitled The Raven. With this novel, I’m asking you to pack your bags and travel with me to the city of Florence. The Gabriel Series showed you the city during the day. This time, I’ll show you Florence’s underworld, which is ruled by creatures of the night …
Here’s the formal announcement:

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Gabriel Series comes a dark, sensual tale of romance in a city shrouded in mystery…

Raven Wood spends her days at Florence’s Uffizi Gallery restoring fine works of Renaissance art. But an innocent walk home after an evening with friends changes her life forever. When she intervenes in the senseless beating of a homeless man, his attackers turn on her, dragging her into an alley. Raven is only semi-conscious when their assault is interrupted by a cacophony of growls followed by her attacker’s screams. Mercifully, she blacks out, but not before catching a glimpse of a shadowy figure who whispers to her …

Cassita vulneratus.

When Raven awakes, she is inexplicably changed. She returns to the Uffizi, but no one recognizes her and more disturbingly, she discovers that she’s been absent an entire week. With no recollection of the events leading up to her disappearance, Raven also learns that her absence coincides with one of the largest robberies in Uffizi history – the theft of a set of priceless Botticelli illustrations. When the baffled police force identifies her as its prime suspect, Raven is desperate to clear her name. She seeks out one of Florence’s wealthiest and elusive men in an attempt to uncover the truth about her disappearance. Their encounter leads Raven to a dark underworld whose inhabitants kill to keep their secrets …

As I mentioned in my September post, readers of Gabriel’s Redemption will be able to read an excerpt from The Raven at the end of both the paperback and e-book editions.

But what I didn’t mention was that one of the characters of The Raven appears in Gabriel’s Redemption. Can you identify him or her? I welcome your guesses in the comments below and on social media.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that there’s a connection between The Gabriel Series and my new series – a connection that is more than simply me, or the city of Florence, or the Uffizi Gallery. If you’ve read the cover copy above carefully, probably you’re beginning to guess the answer. But I’ll be explicit and state that we won’t be saying goodbye to the Professor and Julianne at the end of Gabriel’s Redemption. Look for them to have cameo appearances in The Raven as well …

While I don’t have a release date for The Raven yet, I hope to have one soon. This novel marks my transition from a contemporary love story to a paranormal one. I hope you’ll join me on this journey and that if you have friends and family who enjoy paranormal novels, you’ll help me share the news with them.

As we approach the December 3rd release date of Gabriel’s Redemption in North America, my American publisher has listed a giveaway of the novel on Goodreads. US entrants can enter the contest here.

And if you’d like to read a new excerpt from Gabriel’s Redemption and enter another contest, you can do so here at Romance Times.

Finally, I want to wish everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving this week a very happy holiday. I have much to be thankful for and in particular, I’m thankful for you, my readers.

All the best and thank you for your continued support,

Eva Lindke
Author’s Biography
A new emerging Southern New Jersey author, Eva Lindke is taking the Romance field by storm. Her novels fall into a category of their own, sultry. Her sultry novels are not as extensively graphic as erotic but hotter than what is normally considered steamy romance novels.
Eva is a unique mix of quiet restraint with a wild mind of romance and seduction. She is a unique individual who is turning out romance novels that are amazing and keep the reader on track.
The Pink Cove series is the Pinnacle of the sultry novel genre. It is a unique and racy private club where people either fear it or desire to be a part of it. The Pink Cove allows you to be free to experience your greatest desires without the fear of persecution for “normal” society.
Eva Lindke developed this genre out of a realization that a category of readers where not being reached. Now she is becoming more in demand and her readers can’t wait for the next installment of The Pink Cove clan to be released. Because of the genre Eva is somewhat of a recluse and only steps out from behind her computer or other devices for a few rare book appearances. But one look at Eva and you realize that she is as unique as her characters.
Eva loves to travel to new exotic locations but often favors those places surrounded by warm tropical water.

homosexuality in the bible

homosexuality in the bible.

this has got to be one of the most amazing pieces of research I’ve read. It’s phenomenal. How to win a debate about homosexuality in the bible, or I should say the lack of. I’m not going to write much about it, I’m just going to leave it to do it’s job, by you reading it.

Enjoy, learn and then when someone tries this next time USE !

The Mistress/The Red Years – Tiffany Reisz.

The final book in The Original Sinners Series – The Red Years.

image image

There’s punishment-and then there’s vengeance.

Nora Sutherlin is being held, bound and naked. Under different circumstances, she would enjoy the situation immensely, but her captor isn’t interested in play. Or pity.

As the reality of her impending peril unfolds, Nora becomes Scheherazade, buying each hour of her life with stories-sensual tales of Søren, Kingsley and Wesley, each of whom has tempted and tested and tortured her in his own way. This, Nora realizes, is her life: nothing so simple, so vanilla, as a mere love triangle for her. It’s a knot in a silken cord, a tangled mass of longings of the body and the heart and the mind. And it may unravel at any moment.

But in Nora’s world, no one is ever truly powerless-a cadre of her friends, protectors and lovers stands ready to do anything to save her, even when the only certainty seems to be sacrifice and heartbreak….(blurb taken from

The Mistress – Tiffany Reisz, she’s always a safe bet. I don’t mean her books are safe. Far from it. What I mean, is it’s always guaranteed to get a fabulous read from her books. I admit to being wary part way through this book. I even thought, for a few chapters, that Ms. Reisz had done the unthinkable, and had completely ruined the Original Sinners Series. So much so, that it did take me quite a while to get in to the book, and understand the story. I had to put it down, and pick it up a few times first, but….when I finally did get there, ooooh for the love of Soren, was it worth it!
I want to say I feel bad for Wesley, but I don’t, you’ll see what I mean. Neither Nora or he were worthy of each other.

I think the reason I found this one, compared to all of her others, so much more difficult, is because there’s just so much going on. With the back story, the story happening now, what’s happened in the past, bringing it all together from the other books etc. It all makes perfect sense by the time you get about 1/3 of the way through, or at least that’s what I found.

Anyhoo, after all the palarva of getting into it, it was a swift read from there on. Grace was something of a miracle character, and not what I expected at all. Wesley was as big a drip as ever, but obviously some people do like big cuddly, romantic types. I’m not belittling that, it’s just not my thing. I was TERRIFIED for Nora. Wow, the stories, they’re amazing, and catch you up on all the history from young Soren, meeting Kingsley, meeting Nora, present day and everything in between. It truly is awesome.
